Conan is a fictional character created by Robert E. Howard. In the 1930's, Howard's first Conan story, "The Phoenix on the Sword," was published in Weird Tales, a pulp magazine of that time

A Thief, a Reaver, a Slayer...

Conan leaves his village in his teens, and wanders throughout the land in search of riches, women, and adventure. During these times, he spends time as a slave, a thief, mercenary, and leader of various bands and armies. Eventually, he seizes the throne itself of Aqualonia, the finest kingdom in the land. Conan soon learns that the life of a king is not what he bargained for....
